Contractors License

Do I need a contractors license in the state of Florida for repairing kitchen appliances residential and commercial?

I was told you do not need a license state contractors to repair equipment in Florida, but I know for sure, I tried to find information online but could not find a good source. I also told me that you can work in refrigerators and coolers with a license because they have little cooling. and all I want to do is repair not to install complete systems. I appreciate any help!

My husband had to get a license to do the same work they are doing. Of course, we in California, but I can not imagine it would be so dramatically different in Florida. Either way, license and probably will protect you win more customers, because they have a license strengthens you know what you're doing, and you are not just some random false claims. At least, that was my husband's experience. No I think you get a contractor license in Florida must be very difficult. As here, to study for a state exam and get bonded. In fact, my husband had an online course at night and on weekends (which could log at a time). If you are interested, here's the site: http://www.contractorlicense.com. Good luck with your career! I know it's playing out there right now. I think the licensing background and can only help give you peace of mind. :)
