My husband is a holder of a General Partnership, they are contractors Inependent, what is the best way to pay partners

My husband just started a General Partnership. It Timber is one of the partners falling business. The are independent contractors. We want every one of them get paid for what they earn. Example: Contract is 295.00 dollars a day for one hour on day 6 of timber cutting. So if a couple puts in 10 days and the other partner puts in 9 days for a payment period, a check to our company for $ 5,605.00. So how we would like to go is that of the pair in 10 days is $ 2,950.00 before and partner witholdings putting in 9 days is $ 2,655.00 before witholdings. The property of the association is 50% for each partner. Does this mean that for every check received by the business you have to divide 50% for each partner, even if one partner did not work during that pay period? Or we can do as we would like explained above?

My husband and I have a business owned by the outsourcing of painting for 15 years. We used to have his brother in ownership .. when we did, we paid in accordance where he worked X amount of hours a day so in a pay period. However, there is always a cut on the top when it bid for the company .. namely to help other supplies and equipment and is basically the company money. So .. If your business has no expenses, then divide the payment according to what worked hours regardless of ownership 50/50.
