Are portable generators are a reliable brand Multipower?

I'm thinking of investing in a portable generator 3500watt contractor. Home Depot had only 2 comments, which were good, but I'd like to hear from some more people on the brand in general. Thanks!

On the side of engine says Made in China. Based on only my advice would be to turn and run. Contractor degree means nothing without the term being defined somewhere. It may seem quite work and for now, but hopefully you have a heavy paperweight if repairs are ever needed. Ask the sales people Home Depot, where repairs are made collateral. If the generator has to be sent across the continent, a service deposit may want to review. If it's somewhere near you, visit the shop repairs and talk to the owner for advice. I personally look for something from a reputable manufacturer. Briggs Stratton and has a large and maintaining the network and would sure to find someone familiar with the engine almost everywhere. Used generators are available at reasonable prices online prices. Check Kijiji and Craigslist, as well as local classified ads.
